  I received my bachelor's and master of arts degrees at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in Istanbul. I continued a part of my MA studies at the Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Bologna in Bologna- Italy.

  Aside from my professional activities in designing fabric patterns as a freelancer, I have taught myself how to embrodier just for fun and curiosity in 2011. I wouldn't imagine that this would become a part of business I truly enjoy doing.

  My long–term practical experience in mostly nature–inspired fabric design is reflected over in my embroideries. Since I have been designing fabric patterns for over 15 years, I have a great knowledge dealing with color combinations, exploring different kinds of plants, objects, etc. and illustrating them has been helping me a lot with my embroideries. So I think switching between designing patterns and embroidery keeps me refreshed and inspired for both activities, particularly for embroidery.

   I started a small business in 2016 through my website where I make my embroideries available for purchase. I have an art studio in a historic district in downtown Istanbul, where I spend most of my time doing what I love.
